Supreme Head Of Gbese Sonmenaa Donates Vital Items To Needy SHS Students

The Supreme Head of Gbese Sonmenaa Nii Doku III, has donated school trunks, mattresses and cash to students who have gained admission into Senior High School SHS in the Gamashie area with a call on the students to perform well in their various areas of study.

The donation is targeted at reducing the financial stress some parents go through in buying prospectus for their wards during this difficult times.

The Supreme Head of Gbese Sonmenaa who is also the Sempe Muslim Akwashongtse advised the new SHS students to take their education seriously and make themselves, their parents and the GaDangbe community proud.

He reiterated that it’s high time education takes the centre stage and becomes an avenue to fight for development; thus, students are expected to learn hard and come out with flying colours.

According to him, those who have gone to school to become medical doctors, accounts, lawyers, engineers among others have the same brain and can therefore be like them if they learn hard to get to that level adding that education holds the key to their future dreams.

He lamented that as parents, they have done their best in providing their school needs; therefore, it’s up to them as students to learn hard and achieve their dreams by impacting the society in the future.

The Supreme Head of Gbese Sonmenaa stated that the progress of the GaDangbe lies on the shoulders of the students and it is expected of them to learn hard so as to take GaDangbe to a higher height.

He called on the parents not to be discouraged in educating their children’s but rather invest in their education as it will be beneficial to them in the near future.

Nii Doku III explained that irrespective of any challenge they might find themselves in they should not deny their children access to education.

Nii Doku III used the occasion to wish all the students success in their new chapters.

The parents applauded the Supreme Head of Gbese Sonmenaa, Nii Doku III for his support towards the education and development of the GaDangbe people and called for more support to encourage the children in the area to take their education seriously.
