The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma Central Constituency, Hon. Abdul- Latif Dan, has presented food items worth GHC 106,000 to the Muslim community in his Constituency in support of their Ramadan. The items included 151 bags of sugar, 120 cartons of milk, 82 boxes of Lipton, 55 boxes of milo and 25 bags of rice.

Presenting the items yesterday, the MP said the gesture formed part of his annual donations to support Muslim communities in the month-long fasting and for onward distribution to Mosques, Imams, Opinion leaders, women and youth observing this year’s Ramadan.

According to the lawmaker, the gesture is to aid in the successful completion of the holy month of fasting and thus charged them to pray for unity, love, and peace for the country.

The Ward Coordinators, Opinion leaders, and individuals who received the items expressed their gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries to the MP and asked for Allah’s blessings for him.
