Police rescue another Kano child sold in Anambra

Kano state Police Command has rescued an 11 year old boy abducted from PRP quarters of the metropolis in 2014 and sold in Anambra state.

Police spokesperson Abdullahi Haruna said Muhammad Ya’u was Kidnapped by Paul Onwe and Mercy Paul and sold to Ebere Ogbodo at the sum of N200,000.00.

He added that Muhammad Ya’u was christened as Chinedu Ogbodo by his abductors.

KANO FOCUS reports that the three suspects are already in police custody following the rescue of nine other children they had earlier abducted.

Mr Haruna, a Deputy Superintendent of Police say the command is in the process of rescuing more abducted Kano children who had been sold in Anambra state.
