NDC Baba Jamal Donates Sewing Machines, Motorbikes, Hairdryers To Ayawaso East NDC

A member of the National Democratic Congress NDC legal team and former legislature, Hon. Baba Jamal through Mahama Centre has donated some items to women and youth in the Ayawaso East Constituency.

The donation is aimed at motivating and strengthening the party’s campaign and its support base in the constituency.

The donated items include 30 sewing machines, 10 hairdryers and 22 motorbikes.

Speaking at the well organized event, the Director of Mahama Centre, Baba Alhaji Nuru Halid revealed that the Centre is a local Non-governmental Organization NGO based in Nima and is into humanitarian services.

He reiterated that, the centre has supported many individuals and community members and held many programs aimed at empowering the youth as well as give legal aid for the youth in Nima.

Assembly members within Ayawaso East electoral areas were to give one hairdryer to the women in their electoral areas whilst others received sewing machines.

The motorbikes were distributed to the party’s ward coordinators: some hard working youth as well as the youth wing of the NDC.

The founder of Mahama Centre and former Parliamentary aspirant, Hon. Baba Jamal urged the constituents to look at the bigger picture by desisting from voting Skirt and blouse to give Mahama a comfortable majority in parliament to work with.

He called on the constituents to bury their differences and rally behind Hon. Mc Nazer by voting massively for him and John Mahama adding that the party is targeting about 160 or more parliamentary seats hence the need to ensure that seats that were lost are taken back and maintain the already won seats.

According to him, it is the right for lost aspirants to support their MPs to win their seat and increase votes for the NDC.

He added that the Ayawaso East Constituency is NDC majority with about 50,000 voters therefore the party in the constituency is targeting beyond 30,000 votes to confirm and consolidate the majority for the NDC.

The donation he said was to empower the constituents and the ward coordinators in East Ayawaso to help them work effectively for the party ahead of the general election slated for December 7 for a massive win for Hon. Mac Nazer Mahama Toure and John Dramani Mahama.

The donation he said was also aimed at empowering the grassroots in the constituency to go to the grounds and campaign for the MP and John Mahama to secure victory for the NDC.

Hon. Baba Jamal revealed that Mahama Centre is a local NGO affiliated to the NDC and was in existence for the past six years and is ensuring that it assists the NDC to win power.
