Daddy’s Pride Academy Tours Police Headquarters

Children are said to be the foundation of every society and when their potentials are appropriately harnessed, they grow up to become valuable assets not only to their biological parents and extended family, but the country as a whole. Education undeniably plays a vital role in realizing one’s potentials and shaping it. However, the significance of social constructs, discourse, personal circumstances, etc cannot be ruled out in unlocking the potentials of these future leaders. Both state and non-state actors are of utmost importance in creating a conducive environment for the younger generation to become productive adults.

As part of efforts by some educational institutions to familiarize pupils with the work of the Ghana Police, selected pupils from Daddy’s Pride Academy visited the Police Headquarters in Accra as posted on facebook by the Ghana Police Service.

25 pupils from Daddy’s Pride Academy, Pig farm- Accra visited the Police Headquarters today 7th November 2019 on a familiarization tour.

The smartly dressed pupils who aspire to be Police Officers in the future visited the Police headquarters as part of their career day activity.

During their visit, they were taken to some units at the Headquarters which includes, the Quartermaster stores, Criminal Investigation Department, Public Affairs Directorate and Police Information and Command Center.

The pupils were met by COP/Mr. Ken Yeboah who in his welcome address advised them to take their studies seriously because knowledge is power.
