Ablekuma Central MP, Inspects Roads Construction In His Constituency

The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma Central Constituency Hon. Abdul Latif Dan on July 11, 2021 toured the constituency to inspect roads under construction in his Constituency. The tour was intended to find out the extent of work done so far. The inspection was also to assess the impact of construction work on residents especially traders at Abossey Okai Spare Parts.

Hon. Abdul Latif Dan called on the contractors to stick to the timelines agreed on adding that delaying the project would seriously affect business at Abossey Okai. The asphalted roads include Mataheko and Flamingo. That of Abossey Okai is still under construction. Some residents and passers-by appealed to the MP to come to their aid and fix the bad roads in their respective areas. Hon. Latif Dan assured them that some of the bad roads in the constituency will soon be fixed.

On her part, the Communications Officer and Head of Communication Bureau of Ablekuma Central, Miss Vivian Sallar said the roads being constructed were part of plans to make communities within the Constituency accessible: stating that Hon. Abdul Latif Dan (MP) was committed to make the Constituency work again and improve the living conditions of residents.

“As a Member of Parliament, your job is to lobby for more projects to your constituency and that is what Hon. Latif Dan is doing” she noted. According to her, Ablekuma Central has witnessed massive development under NDC MPs and governments. Miss Vivian Sallar expressed the hope that the MP will continue to lobby for more developmental projects for the good people of Ablekuma Central.

The supervisor of the construction firm assured the MP that the projects would be completed within the stipulated time frame.
